This international conference is one of several events organized as part of the annual SMCC congress referred to as the Computer Science ENCounter (ENC). The proceedings of the international conference will be published by IEEE Computer Society Press. ENC 2005 covers a broad spectrum of topics including, but not limited to: * Theoretical computer science * Software engineering * Evolutionary computing * Image processing * Computer vision * Computer graphics * Computer architecture * Databases * Educational computing * Optimization * Algorithms * Computer networks * Computational linguistics * Distributed systems * Web computing * Information retrieval * Artificial intelligence * Human-computer interaction * Robotics * Numerical methods Submission Guidelines English is the official language of the international conference. Papers will be submitted electronically and will be reviewed by an international committee. Prior to the submission of a full paper, authors are requested to submit an abstract, title and keywords so appropriate reviewers can be assigned. Electronic submission of abstracts is due on April 15, 2005 via the conference's website. Full papers should be submitted by April 30th. Only papers that were preceded by the submission of an abstract will be considered for review. Full papers must not exceed 8 pages and must be submitted as PDF or PostScript files following the formatting conventions established by IEEE Computer Society Press (http://www.computer.org/cspress/instruct.htm). Please note that this Call for Papers applies only to the international conference that is part of ENC.
