Date: 21 Jul 2004 From: pagh@itu.dk Subject: PhD course in randomized algorithms at ITU There will be a PhD level course on randomized algorithms at ITU running from September 7 until early November. It will be scheduled for Tuesdays, 11-17. The course will partly be based on a course given at Aarhus University, see http://www.daimi.au.dk/~gudmund/randomF04/index.html The teachers are Gudmund Frandsen, Anna Pagh, and Rasmus Pagh. We plan about 5 days with lectures, the remaining days will have only exercises. Students from outside of Copenhagen may choose to do the exercises at their home institution. There will be no fee for participation, but you should send an email to pagh@itu.dk to sign up for the course. Note that ITU is now situated in Ørestad. Please forward this information to anyone you think might be interested. Rasmus Pagh
