Before you can sail, you'll have to drive, so here is a description
of how to get to each spot.
These directions all start in Copenhagen. Most spots can be reached in less
then an hour.
You start on E47/E55/Helsingoermotorvejen and goes norht.
Take exit nr. 9 (Hilleroed Hoersholm) and go by road 19 heading towards
Hilleroed.
Just after Hilleroed, you go by road 267 towards Helsinge. This road will
eventually take you to Tisvildeleje. If you wanne go to Raageleje,
you should take road 223 to Raageleje, the first time you see the water.
Parking in Raagelej is left from here. If you are not satisfied with
Raageleje, you can go right instead, and drive 5-6 km, until
you reach the little privat road 'Havstokken'. You park on the main
road, and on a good day, there will be a lot of surfmobiles. (and
angry residents).
Some people will call Havstokken for either Smidstrup or Udsholt. You should
pay no attention to such ignorants....
You start on E47/E55/Helsingoermotorvejen and goes norht.
Take exit nr. 9 (Hilleroed Hoersholm) and go by road 19 heading towards
Hilleroed.
After Hilleroed, you take road number 16, towards Frederiksvaerk.
1 km after the Shell tank on the left in Frederiksvaerk, there is a
'roundabout' where you turn right towards Liseleje, and then there is
arrow directions the rest of the way.
You start on E47/E55/Helsingoermotorvejen and goes norht.
Take exit nr. 9 (Hilleroed Hoersholm) and go by road 19 heading towards
Hilleroed.
After Hilleroed, you take road number 16, towards Frederiksvaerk.
1 km after the Shell tank on the left in Frederiksvaerk, there is a
'roundabout' where you go 'straight ahead'. 3-4 km before Hundested,
you turn left, (by the sign) towards Lynaes. From there, there is
little signs, with windsurfers on, which you (you guessed it!) follow.
You start on E47/E55/Helsingoermotorvejen and goes norht.
Take exit nr. 9 (Hilleroed Hoersholm) and go by road 19 heading towards
Hilleroed.
By the exit towards 'Hileroed nord' and Gilleleje you go right
500 meters after this, you go left towards Noeddebo and Gilleleje.
Then you drive for approx. 22 km.
In Gilleleje, you follow the signs to the harbour ('Havnen'), where you sail
from the down-wind side.
You start on E47/E55/Helsingoermotorvejen and goes norht.
By exit number 4, (Espergaerde og Hornbaek), you leave, and go left
on 235, that leads directly to Hornbaek.
The road goes through Hornbaek, and right after exiting Hornbaek
there is signs for a parking lot, where you go and sail.
You can sail from the harbour, but this is not recommended, since the
wind is not so good there.
