RAAGELEJE.

The best conditions is when the wind is in south-west, but west-south-west is also usable.

Raageleje is one of the most popular spots on the northcoast, and can be quite crowdy.

From the big parking lot, you enter the water by the beach, or from the 'rescue-way'.

The waves can get big, but there is usally some time between the really big ones. The surfaces can get quite messy, but the waves can be good for riding, cause they build up slow, so you can anticipiate where they are gonna be good. Outside the break, the waves are usally big and flat.

The starting point is not good for waveriding, since there is an old sunken 'pier' (don't know the correct english term), that is a danger to your fins, and kills the waves.

The best place for waveriding is about 50 meters away from the wind, relative to the starting point. Off course, here there is a relativly strong current, that can be quite a pain. If you move to far away from the starting point, the waves start coming in parallel to the coast. Not good.

Beware of the abowe mentioned pier. It'll ruin your fins if you don't stay clear of it.

Frontlooping in this area is also not recommended.
