Colorado (26-Sep-1999)

Colorado can set the full Workbench® palette by creating a new Env:Sys/Palette.Prefs file and lock those colours which cannot be changed that way.
The colors are taken from either an IFF palette or picture file, and in case of a picture then it will write out a new Env:Sys/WBPattern.Prefs file, with the given picture as background and disabled remap.

The beauty of all this is that if you try to quantize an image to 16 colours, where the first 8 are those from the MWB palette, then you can actually get quite good results, depending on the initial picture.
So this program should be ideal for those who still run their workbench in 16 or 32 colours, but still want to have nice looking backgrounds.

The source and two example images are included in the archive.
