Bachelor in computer science
As a bachelor student you will receive a thorough introduction to computer architechture, algorithmics, databases, networks and operational systems. You will, moreover, get acquainted with a number of programming languages.
In addition, you can choose between a number of optional subjects ranging from natural sciences to the faculty of arts. E.g. you can choose nano technology, mathematics, physics or scientific communication. Or how about philosphy or even language studies?
Specialisations
Application development
As an application developer you will obtain skills and specilise in programming languages, computer architechture, IT security and IT project management. The career possibilities will be e.g. software developer or project manager of major IT development projects.
Data and information modelling
This specialisation will give you comptencies within data and information modelling offering courses in mathematics, statistics, logics, computer graphics and data analysis. You will learn how to develop models of discrete or physical phenomena, to analyse models and apply the result.
Teamwork is a major part of the education, and you will automatically be included in project teams giving you good opportunities for building personal networks among your fellow students.
